From Boutique Brick-and-Mortar to Westfield Microstore: Treat House opens at Garden State Plaza

Famed Manhattan eatery Treat House is now bringing their gourmet rice crispy treats to Westfield Garden State Plaza. Located outside the Apple Store on the shopping center’s 2nd level, Treat House appeals to adults and children alike, with flavors that include Caramel Sea Salt, Birthday Cake and Lemon Meringue.

Designed to have the same look and feel as their original Upper East Side location, Treat House’s Westfield store incorporates many of the same materials- including real tree bark and even a decorative tree.

Owners, Jennifer and Chris Russell came up with the Treat House idea when creating sweets with their kids to sell at charity and fundraising events. After two years of developing the concept, they opened their Manhattan location to much success. Now with 2 locations in Upper Manhattan, their newest location at Westfield Garden State Plaza and a fourth location opening at Westfield World Trade Center in early 2016, Treat House’s crispy confections have become the go-to treat for hungry New Yorkers and New Jerseyans.
