Some of the Bay Area’s brightest designers have recently joined Westfield San Francisco Centre’s existing portfolio of retailers and restaurants as part of the Fashion Incubator of San Francisco (FiSF). Located in Westfield’s new tech-centric retail experiment Bespoke, the designers, who include Jeff Ladra of Pladra and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week presenter Jessica Liu of Simple Pair Fashion Design, will be featured in a month-long exhibition aimed at accelerating fashion brands though technology.
According to the recent article, Westfield Centre pop-up will test tech ideas on shoppers, featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, the designers will be able to gain important consumer insights through the activation including, “which [retail] displays are attracting the most customers and whether their target customer is actually the customer that makes purchases.”
Featuring both established e-commerce brands, as well as new-to-market designers, the incubator provides a perfect example of the flexibility and range of pop-up retail.
