Go Local with Westfield: Farmers Market Sundays at The Village

Starting this Sunday, September 20th The Village at Westfield Topanga, Westfield’s newest retail development, will host its weekly Farmers Market featuring the best in California grown and produced goods. With a classic farm-stand style format, the market will feature the highest quality in seasonal fruits and vegetables, along with gourmet coffee and baked treats, flowers and other specialty items.

In his recent article, “Village at Westfield Topanga to host farmers market on Sundays“, Gregory J. Wilcox of LA Daily News further discusses the array of retail options available at the market, “The weekly marketplace will also sell artisan products such as furnishings, clothing and accessories, handmade jewelry ceramics, gift baskets, soaps, candles, bath and body amenities and greeting cards.”

Partnering on the project is LA-based California Certified Farmers Market, the association behind such successful marketplaces as the Larchmont Village and Melrose Place Farmers Markets. In a recent statement, California Certified’s president Jennifer McColm, who for the past 15 years has worked to ensure that all featured produce is certified as California grown, expresses her excitement on this newest project,

“It’s an honor and privilege for me to be associated with Westfield, once again, in operating my farmers and artisan market at The Village. This is my fourth collaboration with Westfield, and the village is the most sensational yet.”

Support local farmers and artisans with a visit to the market, open every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m..
