Grilled cheese guru, and fine-dining chef, Eric Greenspan is set to open his first grilled cheese pop-up restaurant here at Westfield Century City this Thursday, January 22nd. The chef and owner of LA’s popular Greenspan’s Grilled Cheese is expanding his empire with the temporary restaurant, running this week through mid-April.
The ‘Top Chef’ finalist and former chef of LA’s The Foundry, also known for his first-place finish at the 2008 Grilled Cheese Invitational, will be bringing his comfort food to the 2nd level Dining Terrace. Diners will be able to choose from a rotating menu of grilled and gooey delights, along with salads and other sides, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily, with extended hours on the weekends. The vetted grilled cheese master has even created a Westfield special, which with the addition of short rib and garlic aoili is a delicious-sounding spin on the classic sandwich.
With Westfield’s pop ups now ranging from boutique brick-and-mortars to temporary restaurant concepts like Greenspan’s, the Westfield Pop Up program has truly become an industry standard.
